Learn Gospel. Love God.  Respond Appropriately.

Instead of starting off by talking about what we do, we wanted to start with who we are. Paul does this in his letters when he begins by telling us who we are in Christ (identity) then moves on to how we ought to live (rhythms) in accordance with that identity.

Our four identities:

Family
We are children of God who live and care for each other as brothers and sisters in Christ.

Missionaries
We are missionaries of God, sent by God to restore all things to Himself, through Jesus Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Servants
We are servants of God who serve others with our lives because Christ Himself came to serve and to give His life for us.

Disciples
We are disciples of Christ who proactively seek our own development and the development of others; growing together in our love for Jesus and obedience to all He commanded.
